LLC Filing Fees | The fee for filing Articles of Organization is $100. A completed “Written Consent to Act as Registered Agent” form must be attached to the Articles of Organization . A “Combined Business Tax Registration Application,” form F500 must also be filed with the LLCs articles. Foreign LLCs must file an Application for Certificate of Registration for a Foreign Limited Liability Company and submit a filing fee of $150. |
LLC Name Reservation Information | District of Columbia organizers may pay a $25 fee to reserve an LLC name by filing an “Application for LLC Name Reservation Information” form available on the Department of Consumer Regulatory Affairs’ website. The name reservation remains effective for 60 days. |

Periodic LLC Reporting Requirements | District of Columbia LLCs must file a “Two-Year Report for Foreign and Domestic Limited Liability Companies.”The reports are due on or before the first June 16 to fall following the LLCs registration and on or before June 16 every two years thereafter. |
