Corporation Filing Fees The fee for filing Articles of Incorporation is $52.
Corporation Name Reservation Information and Fees Utah incorporators may reserve a corporate name by filing an Application for Reservation of Business Name with the Division of Corporations accompanied by a filing fee of $20. The name reservation remains effective for 120 days.

Corporate Tax Summary Utah corporations and foreign corporations doing business in Utah must pay a corporation Franchise Tax equal to 5 percent of income attributable to Utah operations. The minimum tax is $100.
“S” Corporation Information Utah recognizes the federal S corporation provision. The subchapter S election is automatic and no state-specific forms need be filed to make the subchapter S election. However, Utah requires that a copy of the IRS approval letter be filed with the Utah Tax Commission. S corporations are treated as “Utah Small Business Corporations.”
