Corporation Filing Fees | The minimum fee for filing Articles of Incorporation is $75. This includes a $25 filing fee, and a $50 minimum charter fee. The minimum charter fee of $50 applies to corporations with 25,000 authorized shares or less. The charter fee increases by $50 for each additional 25,000 authorized shares or fraction thereof. The maximum filing fee is $2,500. |
Corporation Name Reservation Information and Fees | Virginia incorporators may reserve a corporate name by filing an Application for Reservation or for Renewal of Reservation of Corporate Name on form SCC631/830 accompanied by a filing fee of $10. The name reservation remains effective for 120 days. |

Periodic Corporation Reporting Requirements | Virginia corporations and qualified foreign corporations must file an annual report. The Virginia State Corporation Commission mails an Annual Assessment Packet to eligible corporations. Corporations must file their annual report by the last day of the calendar month of the anniversary date of their incorporation. The annual report must accompany an annual registration fee.
