To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to you to avail myself of my rights under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This letter is a Notice of Infringement as authorized in § 512(c) of the U.S. Copyright Law. I wish to report an instance of what I feel in good faith is an instance or Copyright Infringement.

Normally, you would be registered with the U.S. Copyright Office as the Designated Service Provider Agent to receive notifications of alleged Copyright infringement with respect to users of the Service for which you are the Designated Agent. However, you have made no registration. I believe that in order for you to enjoy liability protection from Copyright infringement, you must be registered with the U.S. Copyright Office. In any case, my primary interest is in getting the infringing content down–I have no quarrel with anyone who will cooperate with me.

The material which I contend belongs to me, and appears illegally on the Service is the following:

The following website: http://www.stockinformationsystems.com/support/glossary.htm, contains a glossary of business law terms. That glossary was obviously copied from the following page https://gimmelaw.com/General/glossary.htm. My page has been on the web since early 2001, and has contained a Copyright notice since that time. Furthermore, that glossary appears, with immaterial modifications, in several books that I have published with both Oasis Press, and Entrepreneur Press, such as The Complete Corporate Guide: Incorporate in Any State, The Essential Corporation Handbook, and several others. I believe my publisher has secured Copyright registrations for all the books, and you can research them on Amazon.com if you like.

I am the author and Copyright owner of the glossary in question. My contact information is as follows: LearnAboutLaw.com, 9901 Brodie Lane, Suite 160, Austin, TX 78748, 512-555-2492, newsletter@Learnaboutlaw.com. Please contact me by email. I do not wish to waive any rights by anything I say in this notice. I have already documented the infringing content, and all traceroutes and whois lookups.

I have a good faith belief that the use of the material that appears on the service is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or by operation of law.

The information in this notice is accurate, and I am either the copyright owner or I am authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner. I declare under the perjury laws of the United States of America that this notification is true and correct.

Yours truly,
