Corporation Filing Fees The fee for filing Articles of Incorporation is $100, plus a minimum license fee of $20, which varies with the amount of authorized stock. The $20 license fee covers up to $100,000 of authorized stock. The Department of Consumer Regulatory Affairs offers a helpful “Articles of Incorporation Instruction Sheet” on their website.
Corporation Name Reservation Information and Fees District of Columbia incorporators may pay a $25 fee to reserve a corporate name by filing an “Application for Reservation of Corporate Name.”The form is available on the Department of Consumer Regulatory Affairs’ website. The name reservation remains effective for 60 days.
