LLC Filing Fees To register with the Division a domestic LLC must file Articles of Organization and a filing fee of $200. Foreign LLCs wishing to conduct business in New York must file an Application for Authority and submit a filing fee of $250.
LLC Name Reservation Information and Fees New York organizers may reserve an LLC name by filing an Application for Reservation of Name Form with the Division of Corporations accompanied by a filing fee of $20. The name reservation remains effective for 60 days.

Periodic LLC Reporting Requirements LLCs must file a Biennial Statement with the Division every two years. Shortly before the due date, the Division will mail a Statement form to the LLC. The filing fee is $9.

LLC Tax Summary LLCs are usually considered partnerships for New York tax purposes and must pay the Department of Revenue’s annual filing fee ($325 – $10,000 depending on the number of LLC members). An LLC that is treated as a partnership for federal income tax purposes will be treated as a partnership for NY personal income and corporate Franchise Tax purposes.
